About these terms

These terms apply when you use this website or buy a course from Lyanak Educational Practice ("we", "us"). By placing an order you agree to them.

Our courses

• Courses are delivered online and studied at your own pace. The duration shown on each course is a guide to the time most learners need.
• We describe each course as accurately as we can, including level, content and any awarding body. Qualification and accreditation details may change, and we will tell you if a change affects you.
• There is no live learning platform on this website. After you buy, our team confirms your enrolment and sends your course instructions.

Ordering and prices

• Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and are the price you pay at checkout, including any VAT that applies.
• Your order is accepted when we confirm your enrolment by email. We may decline an order, for example if a price is clearly wrong, and we will refund anything you paid.
• Payments are taken securely by Stripe. A receipt is emailed to you straight away.

Your right to cancel and refunds

If you are a consumer buying at a distance, you normally have 14 days from the day after you buy to cancel and receive a refund, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

If you ask us to start your course access within the 14 days, you agree that you may lose the right to cancel once the course has been fully provided, or that we may deduct a fair amount for the part already provided. Tell us in writing how you would like to cancel through our enquiry form. We refund within 14 days of agreeing, to the original payment method.

Using the website and course materials

• Course materials belong to us or our partners. You may use them for your own study only. Please do not copy, share, resell or publish them.
• Do not misuse the site, try to break into it, or send anything unlawful or harmful through our forms.

Our responsibility to you

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud. We cannot guarantee a particular job, promotion or exam result. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or business losses, and our total liability for an order is limited to the price you paid for it.

Changes, complaints and governing law

We may update these terms. The terms in force when you order apply to that order. If you have a complaint, contact us and we will try to resolve it quickly. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can hear any dispute, although you may also have the right to go to the courts where you live in the UK.
